a need for tools that merge traditional command line based elements of the HPC development cycle into Eclipse. Performance analysis is one function that must be available in any HPC development environment. It is a critical step in high performance application development and maintenance. This talk will provide an overview of a plug-in that encapsulates the TAU performance analysis system for use from within Eclipse. The TAU plug-in provides seamless access to a mature, well supported performance analysis toolkit for parallel C/C++ and Fortran applications. The audience will receive an introduction to the capabilities of the TAU performance analysis system and its interaction with Eclipse, the CDT, PTP and Photran Fortran development plug-ins.

Wyatt Spear has been employed at the University of Oregon's Performance Research Lab since 2004. His work there has focused on tools and utilities for the TAU performance analysis system. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Computer and Information Science from the University of Oregon.
