Corona is the Eclipse Tools Services Framework. Its goal is to provide a collaboration framework to enable a distributed Eclipse environment. To accomplish this, Corona provides an Eclipse based server-side environment used to share a common collaboration context with all participants in the distributed Eclipse environment

This short talk will highlight Corona's Eclipse based server-side environment. Specifically, the ability to deploy server-side plug-ins that expose web service endpoints. A brief overview of Corona’s web service extension point as well as steps needed to use web services within Corona’s distributed Eclipse environment will be provided.

Dennis O'Flynn is the Project Lead for the Corona project. As a Software Architect for Compuware, Dennis has specialized in cross-product integration. He was the project lead on an internal server-side framework that provides messaging and web service infrastructures for several of Compuware’s product lines.
