The Eclipse Data Tool Platform (DTP) project provides a lot of useful features to develop or manege data-centric systems. The SQL Editor of the DTP SQL Development Tools project provides a tool for editing of SQL statements and a framework for executing. But because the SQL Editor is a just standard text- based editor, it is not so easy to create database tables for DTP. We develop a new compnent for the DTP SQL Development Tools project consisteing of plugins providing a functionality for manipulation relatioal database tables. In essence, this new component supplys a graphical mechanism to build a specific set of SQL Data Definition Language (DDL) statements. Just specifying columns and constraints of database table to create according to the Craete Table Wizrd, DDL statements are automatically generated and displyed on the SQL Editor. Installing this plugins, you can develop data-centric systems more comfortably with DTP. At this short talk we will introduce how to generate DDL statements with this new component and how it use existing DTP components to realize its functionality.
