This talk will cover the extension points and api that comprise the Faceted Project Framework with the focus on building project facets. The Faceted Project Framework allows the plugin developer to think of projects as comprised of units of functionality, otherwise known as facets, that can be added and removed by the user. This talk will be based in part on a tutorial presented at EclipseCon 2006 as well as an article published at Eclipse.org by the presenter. In addition, changes to the framework coming the 2.0 release of WTP will be discussed.

Konstantin is a committer on the Web Tools Platform (WTP) project. He has a BS degree in Computer Science from University of Washington and has worked in a variety different areas of the field, ranging from compiler technology to custom server and communication protocol design to most recently tools development.
