Andrei Loskutov
It is unlikely that I would participate on eclipseCon 2007, and the only one reason would be if I would won a free EclipseCon Passport by submitting this track :o)
Anyway, if I would be there, then here is a chronologically sorted list of sessions which I would like to attend:
Monday
(3626) Eclipse APIs and Java 5 : 1.6 is shipped out, but even 1.5 is not yet a standart JDK in Eclipse...
(3671) Simplify your programming life with Eclipse Monkey and Aptana : let see if there are some practical solutions
(3664) UI Forms: I can't believe it's not browser : "must see" for UI developers in Eclipse
Tuesday
Java 7 Language Features : I'm wondering how bad (or not) Java 1.7 might be, after all discussions about closures etc.
Task-focused programming with Mylar : I'm not yet converted to Mylar (although tested it from the beginning), may be this session could made me a believer :)
Introduction to Eclipse Data Binding : sounds interesting
Unleash the Power of Refactorings in your Products - Experiences from 5 years refactoring support in JDT : I love JDT refactorings
Contributing to Menus with the new API : most wanted UI API change since 2.1 Eclipse
RCP with Eclipse, Mozilla and OpenOffice: the giant mashup : sounds like exactly what we might use in my company
Wednesday
Testing Java Applications Using the Eclipse Test and Performance Tools Platform (TPTP) : TPTP is really a huge thing...
Charting with Eclipse BIRT : visualization of data is always interesting
Waypoints, Tags, and Tours : Going beyond Eclipse bookmarks via Social Navigation : another tool that might be useful, seems to be complementary to Mylar
AOP and OSGi - A Marriage Made in Heaven : very very very interesting
Making the most of the Eclipse Compare Framework : let's discover the hidden power of compare API's :)
Prototyping, Automating, Exploring - Interactively Scripting Eclipse : anyone want this, nobody has a complete solution...
Thursday
Java 5: A Developer's Experience : another one talk about 1.5 benefits/weirdness
Secure Desktop Applications with Eclipse RCP : secure or not, this is the question :)
Putting your Build to the Test: Automated JUnit and Performance Testing the Eclipse Way : I appreciate the work done by presenters, and would like to get deeper insights of Eclipse testing
The Fine Art of Reverse Engineering : and finally something for hackers :)
