The Eclipse Process Framework (EPF) provides an extensible framework for authoring, configuring and viewing software best practices, as well as a set of exemplary and extensible processes. We will briefly walk through the key components of EPF; process tooling, plans around Wiki solution, various agile processes, including OpenUP, Scrum, DSDM, XP, Agile Modeling, Agile Database Techniques, the Eclipse Way. We will also invite you to get involved in the project.

Per Kroll is the project leader on the Eclipse Process Framework Project, an open source project centered on software practices, and development manager for RUP and the IBM Rational Method Composer. Per has twenty years of software development experience in supply chain management, telecom, communications, and software product development. He is author of the books The Rational Unified Process Made Easy â€“ A Practitionerâ€™s Guide, Kroll and Kruchten, and Agility and Discipline Made Easy â€“ Practices from OpenUP and RUP, Kroll and MacIsaac. Per is a frequent speaker at conferences and author of numerous articles on software engineering.
