Gorkem Ercan

Mark Rogalski

The eRCP project had its 1.0 release and there are now commercial products that are based on eRCP. In this talk we will explore various ways that your applications can exploit eRCP and eRCP based products. We shall see examples such as: accessing enterprise data in connected and disconnected mode; running rich UI applications across desktops, PDAs, and mobile phones; and updating device software using Application Manager. eRCP 1.1 features and future directions will also be disscussed.

Gorkem Ercan is a senior software engineer at Nokia's java platform team. He is the project lead for the embedded Rich Client Platform (eRCP) project and also a committer for Web Tools Platform (WTP) project.

Mark Rogalski has been with IBM for 19 years, the last eight in the area of device middleware design and development. Currently, he leads development of Lotus Expeditor for Devices and is a member of the Eclipe DSDP PMC.
