This tutorial presents the ongoing work regarding the BPMN modeler developed for the STP (SOA Tools Platform) project.

We address different types of people : the business analyst and the developer.
The two first parts of th tutorial can be attended by non-technical people that want a better way to draw processes. The third part is dedicated to Java developers with a strong GMF experience.

As part of the development of the BPMN modeler, we have implemented or reimplemented some very useful graphical features:
We will also talk about the generation API we have developed, which enables anyone to create a BPMN diagram without knowing about GMF.
We will present a generation sample that parses and transforms very basically BPEL into BPMN.
