EclipseCon 2007 was a great success, but it's over so... we're not taking registrations any more. This page remains on the website to document the registration policies.

Discounts

Alumni If you have attended a previous EclipseCon, you qualify for a 15% alumni discount. Welcome back!

Groups If your company is sending more than a couple people, we have discounts available at 20 or more pre-paid registrations. See the policies page for details.

What's Included

Conference registration provides access to all presentations except tutorials as well as all public receptions, lunches, and the exhibit hall.
Short Tutorial +1 Short Tutorial registration provides access the Conference (as above) plus one Monday short tutorial. +2 Short Tutorials and +3 Short Tutorials are the same, but with two (or three) Monday short tutorials. If you take one of the "double short" tutorials, you will need to purchase +2 Short Tutorials (or more).
Passport registration is a discounted way to purchase the conference registration and tutorials. The passport provides access to everything including four Monday short tutorials or one Monday long tutorial.
Exhibitor registration provides access to the exhibit hall, the receptions, and the keynotes. Exhibitor registrations are only available to sponsoring companies.
Exhibits Only registration provides access to the exhibit hall only - no receptions, no keynotes, no presentations.
Press & Analyst registration is a conference registration for pre-qualified press and analysts. Interested parties should contact Ian Skerrett for information and pre-qualification.
Tutorial Presenters and Long Talk Speakers are given free registration as per the EclipseCon policies. Presenters and speakers must register, however - registration is not automatic.
One Day registrations are for people who are unable to attend the whole conference, but want to attend a single day (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). If you wish to register for tutorials only, you should contact the EclipseCon office for details.
A limited number of student registrations are available for full-time college and university students. Contact the EclipseCon office for details.

Member

A member is an Eclipse member as per the Eclipse Bylaws. The short version is that a member is employee of an Eclipse member company. A mostly up-to-date list of the member companies is available on the Eclipse website. If you are not sure if your employer is an Eclipse member, we can't help you - you'll have to ask someone important inside your company or perhaps the Eclipse Foundation. If you would like your company to become a member, please have the appropriate DMP (decision making person) contact the Eclipse Foundation. There are many benefits of membership including discounted registration to EclipseCon and a secret decoder ring (ok, I'm kidding about the decoder ring).

EclipseCon also offers reciprocal member discounts for Apache Members. Welcome!

Committer

A committer is developer on an Eclipse project who has commit rights to the corresponding eclipse.org CVS repository. If you don't know if you are a committer, then you are not a committer. All committers have unix accounts on dev.eclipse.org, so if you don't have an account there, you are not a committer. If you would like to become a committer, the best way to start is to contact the project lead of the project you are working on - committers are elected by their peers based on the quantity and quality of their contributions to an Eclipse project. It's a role to be proud of, and it's a honor not given lightly.
