Liked_Best: The wifi was awesome. The venue was great, but how about east-coast next year. The program was nice and varied, and the length of the various talks was about right. I loved the USB keys for the presentations. The key was only half full, so maybe other stuff could be put on the keys next year too.

Exhibit_Hall_Hours: The Exhibit Hall should be open less, making it something that delegates plan to visit, rather than something they do when there is nothing else that interests them.
The exhibit hall had room for more podiums, so perhaps it would be a good idea to allow regular delegates to sign-up (for free) to present their own demos. The demos that were set up this year were not in the program brochure and were tucked away in rooms that had no foot-traffic. Next year set up the demos in either the Exhibit Hall, or in a public place where there is foot-traffic and food/beverages.
The t-shirts were horrible: people don\'t want to look like a walking exhibitor billboard. Come up with a cool EclipseCon shirt and people will want to wear it during the conference. ;-)
We don\'t need bags: How about letter/A4 sized folders just big enough to hold a pen, notepad, USB key and the conference brochure.

Improve_Next_Year: Start at 8am if you want to sqeeze the schedule a little more. Unfortunately the quality of the presentations was not always up to scratch. Of course it\'s very difficult to verify the quality of a presentation and/or speaker, but perhaps some guidelines could be issued to speakers that explain the quality expect of them. For example, a live demo is always appreciated, and preferrably not at the end of the talk. Personally I am more in favor of talks that are \"live\" rather than canned slides, since it provides for the opportunity of the speaker and the audience to interact a little.
Provide more time between sessions to talk with other delegates and the speaker. Often you have to rush to make the next session. There was a severe lack of power outlets: There were a few in the rooms, but not nearly enough, but the biggest weakness was in the common areas... there needs to be plenty of tables and chairs to sit at that have power outlets.
Regarding short talks: Make them 10 minutes each and have 4 in 60 minutes, leaving 20 minutes per hour to move between sessions. Make sure that the rooms are close enough that people can more from room to room in 5 minutes or less.
It might be useful to have someone from Sun talking (keynote, perhaps) about Java in general.
