Because the Eclipse Foundation incurs certain expenses prior to the conference, it is necessary to impose the following cancellation policy:
All cancellations must be received in writing. If received before February 1, 2006, a $50 processing fee will be incurred. No refund of any kind, for any reason (including medical emergencies) will be given for cancellation requests received after February 1, 2006. Substitutions from the same organization are welcome at no additional fee. No-shows are liable for the entire conference fee.
Eclipse Foundation reserves the right to cancel the event or substitute speakers. In the unlikely event that the Eclipse Foundation should have to cancel EclipseCon 2006, conference attendees will be refunded for the amount paid for the conference, but is not responsible for any attendees' other related expenses, including hotel and travel. Refunds will be issued within 15 business days after the scheduled conclusion of the conference.
Mail written cancellations to:
EclipseCon 2006 c/o Meeting Strategies Worldwide, Inc.
6220 NE Glisan
Portland, OR 97213
Or fax to: 503.261.0964
Or email to: erin@meetingstrategiesworldwide.com
Sorry, but the Eclipse Foundation cannot, and does not, make exceptions to this policy.
Presenters are encouraged and expected to make their presentation material available to the community. Presentations posted to the submission system will be automatically revealed through the EclipseCon website. Authors are welcome (even encouraged) to retain their copyright while making the material available under the Eclipse Public License or a Creative Commons license; material under other licenses will not be displayed on the EclipseCon website. Presenters can use the convenient EclipseCon 2006 Powerpoint template or not, but in any case should take care to ensure that the copyright and license are correctly defined.
The Program Committee selects amongst submissions based on the content and the presenters, thus substituting a new presenter should only be done with the involvement of the Program Committee. The PC reserves the right to refuse a change or to remove a presentation if they feel that the substitution would change the character of the talk.
The tutorials have been numbered to help identify their location. While this is probably more information than you ever want to know, here's the scheme:
This website is generated from a dynamic XML feed from the ACCEPTED talks in the submission database. If you'd like to read the raw feed and create some other interesting pages (perhaps an iCalendar version or a Google map showing where the speakers reside or ??), the URL is: http://www.eclipsecon.org/2006/XMLFeed.jsp.
